As Freelance Art Director at CB2, I was responsible for the Art Direction and some of the deliverables for marketing the new CB2 App, including: SMS, the dedicated email, and email banners. The Art Direction included a final look and feel, mockups, and a toolkit. The direction and files were also used by other team members for signage and Instagram stories.
The concept for the App campaign is a visual, abstract representation of what the CB2 App can bring to customers on their phone, just a tap away. The imagery expands beyond the phone’s borders, to create an expansive and immersive feeling of inspiration.
There are two types of animation styles used to tell this story: a stop-motion-style animation of this large imagery, and actual video animation from the app. This second style allows us to showcase App features and the user interface.
After just a few days, the App received 1.8k downloads and the dedicated email received 13k click throughs.
